If I were to give comfort to my near and dear ones, I will experience a lot of joy in return. If I were to give trouble, I will experience stress. Joy enables a person to vibrate with energy, where as stress brings the person down. Vibrant individuals are always on a look out of how to comfort others, and in the process gain on joy. They also are able to influence others around them to practice the habit of comforting others, instead of constantly seeking comfort from others. Comforting others makes an individual stronger; where as seeking comfort from others makes one weak and dependent. A vibrant organization or a family is one, where the seniors are committed to developing the capabilities of their juniors, and the juniors are committed to performing, there by boosting the confidence of their seniors. A responsible senior is always on a look out to catch their juniors doing something right or correct them if they were to make a mistake. To correct a person, it is very important to first connect with the person - `first connect then correct`. In the movie`Tare Zameen Par, Aamir Khan playing the role of` Teacher Nikumbh -` shows elegantly the commitment he has to first connect with the student Ishaan, who is facing challenges in school with all his teachers, by going to the extent of visiting the student`s home, where he realizes that Ishaan can paint. On returning to the school, he shows Ishaan one of art book, Ishaan had created which his parents failed to notice. When Ishaan saw that Nikumbh - the teacher had gone to his home, brought the book - he connected. Nikumbh -` the teacher then narrated in front of Ishaan and the whole class that great scientists like Einstein, Edison, artist like Leonardo da Vinci had many learning challenges when they were young. Listening to this Ishaan started to believe that he too could do wonders. It sparked a great desire in him to overcome his own challenges, and later with the guidance of teacher Nikumbh went on the do wonders. While Ishaan the student was greatly comforted by overcoming his challenges, teacher Nikumbh thrived in joy on seeing Ishaan do so very well. What better an occasion to connect with your child, family and loved ones than on this colorful festival of Holi! Even enemies become friends; such is the tradition of Holi. It is a time to return to harmonious well-being with people around you. It is a time to break yourself free from whatever negative feelings about others are holding you back from connecting to them. Seize the spectacular opportunity to bring alive the spirit of giving your best self to others and receive the joy of re-connecting with your loved ones.
